Registration & Screening of Volunteers

An agreement between DND and the three Leagues stipulates that DND personnel and League volunteers who have direct contact* with cadets will undergo a screening process. Leagues are required to screen their own members.

*Direct contact is being alone with cadets.

Effective September 2006, the rules and policy for screening volunteers has changed. To view the policy from the Army Cadet League of Canada, please go to the Volunteer Screening & Management under the Reference Manual. Please read  Policy 10 on the national web site. Click here.
